EC5002 is a core module in the BSc (Hons) Economics programmes. Pre-requisite for this module is prior attendance and passing of Introduction to Economics (FN4001) or Principles of Economics (EC4001). This module will introduce you to the economic theories of macroeconomics, which deals with economic variables affecting the aggregate economy. The analytical methods taught could be applied to questions of contemporary importance, such as issues of growth and development.
